Bissell Floor Steam Cleaner

Bissell has been bringing us quality products since 1876, Heck, they even invented the first vacuum! Today there are a wide variety of Bissell steam cleaners to choose from. Here you will find a comparison of different products to help you choose the best Bissell floor steam cleaner.

Bissell Steam Carpet Cleaner

A Bissell steam carpet cleaner, according to Bissell works through a process referred to by them as TACH, which stands for: Time, the machines multitask efficiently enough to spread out a cleaning solution and hot water into the carpet thoroughly, just before it is vacuumed out and cleaned. Agitation, which refers to the rotating agitating brushes which actually clean the surface. Cleaning formula, which Bissell makes specifically for their machines, and Heat, they claim the water is heated up to 25 degrees hotter than other manufacturers. I don’t know if that’s the case, but I know that they work!

Bissell Big Green Machine

Clearly the mammoth of the choices (35 Pounds!), the Bissel Big Green Machine delivers what it sets out to deliver: A mighty clean carpet! The three stage filtration method of this monster insures that particles picked up by the vacuum are kept securely in the device, and are not rotated back out onto the carpet.

It has a 1.3 gallon tank, which is enough for multiple dirty carpets all at once, and comes with 5 attachments: entitled, Large Brush, TurboBrush, Small Brush, Crevice Tool, and Dusting Brush. The included attachments fit any need, and no additional attachments need be purchased.

This is good, mainly because this is at the top price line for Bissell, at an MSRP of $329.99 (remember, of course, that stores always sell products for significantly less than MSRP!)

Bissell ProHeat 2x Deep Cleaner

The Bissell ProHeat 2x Deep Cleaner takes the form of a more ordinary appearing Bissell vacuum cleaner, but upon closer inspection, and certainly on use, one can see that it does much more than suck air. It’s very effective at cleaning carpets, but doesn’t quite match the Big Green Machine.

It has a 1 gallon tank, which will get the job done, and it comes with the standard attachments you’d expect to get. It runs the same price as the Bissell Big Green Machine, however, it weighs significantly less, at 26 pounds, so if you have a lot of stairs this might be the better option.
